✅ Step 1: Open Copilot Settings

• Open Copilot Chat.
• Select the three dots (⋯) in the upper-right corner.
• Choose Settings.

✅ Step 2: Go to Personalization

• In Settings, select Personalization.
• Choose Custom instructions.
• Click Edit instructions.

✅ Step 3: Tell Copilot How to Work With You

• Select from the suggestions below each text box,
• Type your own custom instructions,
• Or combine both.

Example setup:
