The Recap Teams app brings your meeting recordings, transcripts, and recaps them together into one central location, making it easier to catch up on meetings and find the information you need. You can browse recent meetings, quickly locate specific discussions, and revisit key content without hunting through calendar invites or meeting chats.
Step 1: Open the Recap App
- In Microsoft Teams, select Apps (three dots) from the left navigation.
- Search for Recap (or Meeting Recaps).
- Open the app
- Optionally right click to pin it to your navigation bar for easy future access.

Step 2: Browse Your Recent Meeting Recaps
- The Recap app displays meetings from the past 30 days that were recorded or transcribed.
- Switch between List and Grid views (top, right corner) to browse meetings in the way that works best for you.
Step 3: Filter and Search
- Use filters such as Meetings, Missed, or Followed to quickly narrow your results.
- Search by meeting title, organizer, participant, or keyword to locate a specific meeting.

Step 4: Open a Recap
- Select a meeting to view its available recap content.
- Depending on what’s available, you can review the recording, transcript, AI-generated summary, tasks, mentions, and more.
